The Vol’s Canvas Choice Award

Service navigation

The Vols’ Canvas Choice Award (VCCA) is a student-nominated award that recognizes instructors who demonstrate excellence in using Canvas to support teaching and learning. It celebrates these faculty members for their commitment to going above and beyond in their design and teaching efforts, using Canvas to create student-centered learning experiences.

Whether a course is taught in person or in a hybrid format, Canvas can enhance the learning experience by providing well-organized course materials, clear communication, engaging learning activities, and easy access to resources. Faculty who thoughtfully use Canvas help create a supportive learning environment that promotes student success and fosters meaningful engagement throughout the course.
