OIT offers computer support for students, faculty, and staff for all current versions of Windows or Mac operating systems, as well as wired network printers. OIT also offers mobile device support for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile.

Faculty and staff: need help with University-owned hardware? Desktop Support offers a wide range of assistance with hardware needs including:

Student Computer Support

Currently enrolled students, want face-to-face support for personal computers?

Student Computer Support offers support as a drop-off service or quick-help service.

Quick-help services such as:

  • Accessing UT’s wireless network
  • Installing software
  • Network registrations
  • Removing unwanted software
  • and much more…

Drop-off service for in-depth troubleshooting and repair:

  • Reloading an Operating System
  • Removing viruses and spyware
  • Installing Boot Camp
  • Installing Parallels
  • Troubleshooting network problems
  • and much more…

The Student Computer Support is located in Commons North in Hodges Library, Room 235, alongside the Walk-In HelpDesk.

Available during normal business hours when the University is open, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or by appointment for times outside these hours.
