Providing Support for Business Analytics and Data Informed Decision Making

We are the managers of the campus data warehouse, through which we provide support for business analytics and data informed decision making, including data mining, and the development of data models, predictive and descriptive analytic tools.

The mission that our group strives to achieve is

To Lead and Transform Strategic Campus Data Initiatives as a Critical Campus Asset using Innovation and Operational Efficiency

The vision that we strive to keep in sight is

To facilitate and participate in the creation of Innovative solutions for Data Stores, Integrations, and Visualizations, with a focus on providing Data as a Service.

We maintain the following critical capabilities:

Data Management – acquire, validate, store, protect, and process data – ensuring accessibility, reliability, and timeliness.

Analytics – discover potential trends; analyze effects of decisions or events; evaluate scenario performance; gain knowledge to impact University outcomes.

Reporting – provide organized information in a graphic, tabular or visual form, on a periodic, recurring, regular, or as required basis.
