Cloud Storage Options at UTK

Google for Education provides faculty, staff, and students access to many of the Google applications and services.

The University is transitioning to Microsoft as the primary platform for collaboration and productivity tools. While Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms will remain available, they will have reduced storage quotas. However, Gmail will no longer be available after the transition. Learn about the transition on OIT’s website.

OIT supports several file sharing and storage services: Microsoft 365 OneDrive, Google Drive, and T-Storage. When it comes to online courses, the best options are Microsoft 365 OneDrive and Google Drive.
