MATLAB, developed by MathWorks, is a versatile and powerful high-level programming language and interactive environment widely utilized in scientific, engineering, and mathematical fields. The HPSC group support both the academic and commercial licenses to MATLAB and provide the access to software on all ISAAC resources.

Important Note: The commercial license will be available only for use in Secure Enclave environment
The MATLAB license purchased by the university include all the MATLAB toolboxes provided by MathWorks. Please note that while all the toolboxes are available for UT users, the academic license can only be used for university related work. Examples include using it for teaching purpose by faculty, doing academic research which can be published in publicly available academic journals. Any other use of this license will violate the MATLAB’s license terms and conditions.
We expect and encourage users comply with the licensing requirements of the academic MATLAB before using the installed modules of MATLAB installed on the ISAAC clusters.
The HPSC group at OIT is in process of purchasing a 2-user commercial license for MATLAB valid for one year along with the following selective Toolboxes:
Important Note: Please note that our 2-user license permit concurrent usage by two individuals. Therefore, we would highly recommend closing the MATLAB session if you are not actively using it.
