Did you know that the Research Computing Support (RCS) team within the Office of Innovative Technologies provides manuscript coauthorship for academic research papers? When our consultants make substantial intellectual contributions, we often partner with investigators to coauthor methods and results sections of research manuscripts. 

The RCS team has coauthored more than 370 peer-reviewed manuscripts to date, including 42 collaborations in 2025 alone. These partnerships span colleges and disciplines across the university and reflect our commitment to rigorous, reproducible research. 

RCS includes seven full-time research consultants with PhDs in fields such as statistics, industrial engineering, nutrition, and educational counseling. Our team supports a broad range of methodologies, including: 

• Statistical modeling and inference 

• Machine learning and predictive analytics 

• Qualitative and mixed-methods research 

• GIS analysis 

We provide analytic support using R, SAS, SPSS, Python, Qualtrics, NVivo, ArcGIS, and other specialized research software platforms. Whether you are designing a study, preparing data for analysis, interpreting results, or finalizing a manuscript for submission, RCS can provide end-to-end support.
