When You’re Admitted or Hired
When you’re admitted or hired, you are assigned a university NetID. Your NetID gives you access to a variety of university applications and services and allows you to register for classes. Know your NetID and password before coming to campus for orientation. Your NetID also gives you access to UT email, which will be the primary way the university will contact you; be sure to frequently check your UT email.
