Zoom: In-Meeting Views and Recording Layouts

Zoom meeting hosts and participants may change their view in real-time, adjusting the display of content and webcams to suit their needs. For a more collaborative experience, choose Gallery View and see participants and hosts on their webcams. To assist with focusing on a guest speaker, choose Speaker View or Pin/Spotlight.
Like in-meeting views, Zoom Cloud Recording offers a variety of recording layouts. Included below are ideas on choosing a view, and how to access the Zoom Cloud Recording options in your account.
In-Meeting Views
- In-meeting views for hosts can include Speaker, Multi-Speaker, and Gallery.
- In-meeting views for participants can include Speaker, Gallery, and Side-by-Side.
Cloud Recording Layouts
- Record Active Speaker (with Shared Screen)
Keeps the focus on whoever is talking (active speaker), and this is a good option for 1-on-1 interviews or lectures. - Record Gallery View (with Shared Screen)
Reveals more attendees interacting on-screen, displaying participants in a grid.
