Using LinkedIn Learning as a Teaching Tool

LinkedIn Learning is a fantastic resource available to UT Knoxville* faculty, staff, and students. It has many important and wonderful uses including that of a teaching tool.

Here are a few ways you can start using LinkedIn Learning with students this summer:

Helping the Whole Student

Students want a well-rounded educational experience that not only prepares them for academic success but also for the world after graduation. Faculty can support student well-being by sharing LinkedIn Learning courses and playlists on topics like budgeting, mindfulness, and personal finance. LinkedIn Learning also includes courses on business, creativity, and more!

Career Readiness

Faculty can help students get ready to apply for jobs, graduate school, and internships with courses that support career readiness. Select courses related to writing a resume, preparing for an interview, asking for recommendations, or strengthening skills for careers.

The Academic Side

Faculty can supplement and support their teaching using LinkedIn Learning courses and playlists to build foundational knowledge or skills needed for their course subjects. Incorporating LinkedIn Learning as a supplemental resource can provide students with additional support and resources for specific learning objectives or areas they might need to strengthen.
