Managing What Attendees See in Meetings

Now that Microsoft Teams Premium is available, you can further streamline your meetings with additional features. One of the new features in Teams Premium allows you to Manage What Attendees See. This feature lessens distractions, provides organizers greater control of content, and reduces periodic open mic moments that can disrupt meetings.

Previously, when participants joined a meeting, they were able to view the content shared on the screen and control their camera and mic. Now, in Teams Premium, organizers are able to limit content and speakers to what the organizer brings on to the screen and control access to participants’ cameras and mics. Organizers will add content and presenters to the main screen as needed. At any point, organizers can provide camera and mic access if a participant needs to be seen or heard during the meeting.

To take advantage of these meeting features, toggle on Manage What Your Attendees See within your Meeting Options as you schedule your next Teams meeting or edit an existing meeting.
