That means keeping the basics reliable while also looking ahead—removing friction, simplifying the way we work, and giving faculty, staff, and students the tools they need to teach, learn, research, and serve.

This year, the partnership between the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Office of Innovative Technologies and the University of Tennessee System’s Department of Technology Solutions took a meaningful step forward through OneIT. OneIT is more than a new name. It reflects a shared commitment to working as one team, reducing unnecessary complexity, and delivering technology services that are more connected, consistent, and responsive to the needs of our campuses and the broader University.
