The Office of Innovative Technologies will be performing network maintenance on Sunday, July 19, between 8:00 am and 10:00 AM ET. During this time, most core IT services will be interrupted.

What Is Affected

• Campus Network: Internet, wired, and wireless access on campus, including university housing, will be unavailable.
• Core Applications: Specific applications that will be affected include, but are not limited to:  online registration, advising and financial services through MyUTK, Software Distribution, T-Storage, OIT Linux systems, Apps@UT, VolPrint, the OIT Computer Labs, and network registration.

• Additional Services: Backup services for hosted servers, Volcard deposits, Parking Services, and several other OIT applications will also be unavailable. Voice over IP services will be intermittently unavailable.
• Websites: Sites hosted by OIT (including the online directory, the website for changing your password, some departmental sites, and the OIT website) may be offline.

• Research Clusters: ISAAC, Secure Enclave, and NIMBIOS. The UT-StorR data archival system will also be unavailable.
• VPN: The VPN, access.utk.edu, and site-to-site VPNs for Agriculture Extension Offices and SaaS Services.

What Is NOT Affected

• Email: Email sent through Office 365 or Google will not be affected; however, system messages sent through smtp.utk.edu and Listserv will be unavailable.
• Logins: Central authentication services provided by Microsoft and two-factor authentication should not be affected.
