Overview
OIT HPSC provides support for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology researchers on the UT campuses. We offer a variety of services to help researchers analyze their data using the ISAAC computing resources. If you have any questions, please contact OIT HPSC Bioinformatics Support.

Sequencing with the Genomics Core
OIT HPSC and the Genomics Core make data from the Illumina Novaseq and MiSeq available on the ISAAC NG cluster (via the Lustre file system). For more information, see the Genomics and Sequencing Support page.
HPC Support on ISAAC-NG
Project Accounts and Directories on ISAAC-NG
- Request a user account via the ISAAC portal account request form.
- A PI may request a project through the ISAAC portal landing page.
- In the “Projects” section, click on “Click here to request a new project, to be added/removed from an existing project, or to have a project directory created.”
- Then, choose the appropriate option.
- Additional researchers can request access to a project via the portal, or the PI can submit the request for all members via the service request process.

- Some bioinformatics software tools are pre-installed through the
module
system. - For more information on any of the tools listed below, use the command
module show <NAME>
(where<NAME>
is the name of the tool from the list below).
