We are pleased to announce that Josh Price has been promoted to Executive Director of Research Computing within OneIT (UT Knoxville’s Office of Innovative Technologies and UT System’s Department of Technology Solutions). In this expanded role, Price will provide strategic leadership for both High Performance & Scientific Computing and Research Computing Support services.

With 20 years of research computing experience across industry and academia, Price is uniquely positioned to bring our Office of Innovative Technologies’ research teams together and build on each unit’s strengths to support the UT research community. Since 2019, Price has served as Manager of Research Computing Support, where he has demonstrated the vision and dedication that make him an outstanding fit for this role.
