Before you pick up that phone and call the OIT HelpDesk—start by checking the OIT Status Page located at status.utk.edu. We provide the Knoxville campus community with information about upcoming planned system outages, unexpected current service interruptions, live updates, and details regarding past interruptions. Plus, you may subscribe to the Status Page to stay informed about events affecting our IT systems.

What you’ll find on the OIT Status Page:

  • Real-Time Updates: Stay up to date with live status updates of all UT systems and events happening in the world that may impact our providers.
  • Enhanced Subscriptions: Customize your notifications to receive updates via email, SMS or even through an Atom/RSS feed.
  • Incident History: Easily review past incidents to understand how we’ve handled previous events.
