Microsoft Teams

Teams is a core Microsoft application. It is a collaboration platform that facilitates communication, teamwork, and project management within classes, groups, and organizations. Key features include chatting, video and audio conferencing, channels and teams, file sharing, collaboration with colleagues, task management, meeting scheduling, security, and compliance. Teams is used in public and private industries making the familiarity of it essential to graduating students. Users can chat with individuals or groups outside of a team as well as have conversations in channels within a team. Teams can be set up for departments, commissions, classes, cohorts of students, or any combination of university and non-university members. Channels in Teams can be added to cover group projects, cohorts, study groups, private discussions within a larger team, and more.
