Echo360 PointSolutions users are advised to refrain from using VPNs during attendance submission and polling activities due to potential latency and GPS location inaccuracies. While VPNs do provide secure connections for browsing and remote access to specific UT resources, their encryption can interfere with real-time academic activities and inadvertently negatively impact students’ grades. To consistently and successfully capture and record PointSolutions data, please ensure you and your students are connected directly to the UT network through Ethernet or eduroam when engaging with Echo360.
