For the last several months we have been sharing information about various data types that you may be collecting in your research from personally identifiable information, protected health information, and Controlled Unclassified Information.

This month we’d like to share the various software solutions available to researchers at the University of Tennessee. In the Guide to Sensitive Information in Research website you find a list of IT tools and products grouped by primary function and data storage location along with an indication on whether that tool is permissible for the type of data you plan to collect.
