Timeline for Students

The University is switching to Microsoft as the primary university-wide platform for collaboration and productivity tools, reducing the use of Google services on campus.
About the change
OIT is reducing the use of Google services and will be moving all faculty and staff to Outlook for all email and calendaring services.
Most Google resources will remain available, but there are a few things you should know.
- Any student who wants to switch to Outlook for email and calendaring should contact the OIT HelpDesk to request their account be moved. OIT will copy email and calendar events from Google to Microsoft Outlook.
- Storage space will be significantly reduced. OIT recommends moving files to a personal Google account.
Check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for guidelines and recommendations.
