macOS Sequoia—Wait Before You Upgrade
Apple has released its latest desktop operating system, macOS Sequoia, also known as macOS 15. As always, OIT recommends caution when upgrading to a new operating system. You should not upgrade until you have verified that all your required applications and peripherals will work with this new operating system.
Past experience with Apple OS upgrades shows that Apple typically releases its first three patches within a few months of the upgrade release. Most bugs have been discovered and fixed by the third patch, minimizing the risk of upgrading your operating system.
While you wait for the first few patches to be released, visit Apple’s website or read the “macOS All New Features Guide” for information about new features and supported hardware in macOS Sequoia.
