With the recent PointSolutions updates, a Canvas course navigation link is now available to you and your students, allowing easy access to create PointSolutions accounts and participate in polling sessions. This will streamline the registration process, provide users with an additional location to access PointSolutions, and hopefully eliminate common account issues.
Instructors will need to manually add the PointSolutions link to their Canvas course. Please follow the simple instructions available in our Clickers: Adding PointSolutions to your Course Navigation (for Instructors) article in the OIT Knowledge Base.
If you are a new instructor and need a PointSolutions account, add the PointSolutions (Clickers) navigation link to your course. Then, select the link to create your PointSolutions Instructor account. Once PointSolutions is added to your Canvas course, please direct students who are new to PointSolutions to use the Course Navigation link to create an account quickly and easily. Instructions for creating a student account from your PointSolutions (Clickers) link in your course navigation menu can be found at Clickers: Creating an Echo360 PointSolutions Account (Students). Students who already have an account and choose to participate using the web browser versus the mobile app can access the PointSolutions Participant website from the PointSolutions (Clickers) course navigation link.
