Zoom has ended support of its legacy Chrome OS app and there is a new app available to take its place. For the most up-to-date and feature-rich Zoom experience on a Chromebook, get the new Zoom for Chrome Progressive Web App (PWA). The new app delivers an optimized video meeting experience for Chrome OS devices. If you haven’t installed the app yet, Chromebook users will be prompted to download the new app upon joining or starting a Zoom meeting.

How to get it: 

• Download and install the Zoom for Chrome PWA app from the Google Play store 
  (click the link or search ‘Zoom for Chrome PWA’ in the Play store) or,
• Go to pwa.zoom.us/wc and click on the ‘install’ icon in the Chrome browser address bar.
