macOS Ventura: Wait Before You Update

macOS Proceed with Caution

Apple has released its latest desktop operating system, macOS Ventura, also known as macOS 13.  Hmmm …, lucky 13?  As always, OIT recommends caution when upgrading to a new operating system. You should not upgrade until you have verified that all your required applications and peripherals will work with this new operating system. Past experience with Apple OS upgrades shows that Apple typically releases its first three patches within a few months of the upgrade release. Most bugs have been discovered and fixed by the third patch, minimizing the risk of upgrading your operating system.
