Esri Academy Training Available
If you are looking for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) training, Esri has many e-Learning resources to supplement your on-campus GIS coursework or to enhance your ability to apply GIS to your academic research. Students, Faculty, and Staff across the UT System can take advantage of unlimited access to Esri’s large collection of self-paced e-Learning resources through the Esri Academy. Courses designated as “Maintenance” and “Free” are available at no additional charge. Training materials include self-passed tutorials, web courses, MOOCs (Massive open online courses) videos, SpatialLabs, and books.
Esri Academy resources are designed to help users learn the entire spectrum of the ArcGIS Platforms, including:
- ArcGIS Pro
- ArcGIS Online (AGOL)
- ArcGIS Enterprise
- ArcGIS StoryMaps & other web application builders
- Survey123, Collector & other field mapping Applications
- ArcGIS CityEngine, Insights, & other extensions
If you are a GIS instructor, the site provides tools that to help you compare training options. In addition, you can create and assign customized learning plans for your students to help them develop specific geospatial skills.
Here’s how to access training:
Sign into ESRI ArcGIS UT Online Access using your UT NetID and password. Then, left-click on your User Name/Profile in the upper, right-hand corner of your screen to reveal the Training link. Once you click on Training, you will be redirected to the Esri Academy and ready to begin learning.
