Researchers can now use MATLAB for commercial projects in the ISAAC Secure Enclave. The commercial license is for MATLAB R2023a and features the selective packages:
The license has been purchased by OIT High Performance & Scientific Computing for exclusive use in commercial projects in the Secure Enclave. The license is for concurrent usage by two individuals and is valid for one year. Prior to the purchase of the license, the use of MATLAB was limited to academic projects due to MATLAB’s licensing requirements. We hope this broadens the scope of your research endeavors.
If you are interested in using MATLAB for commercial projects in Secure Enclave, submit a request online and an OIT staff member will reach out to discuss your request.
These MATLAB commercial licenses are only available in the Secure Enclave.
The MATLAB desktop license, available from the OIT Software Distribution website and Apps@UT, is an academic license and may be used for educational and academic research purposes only.
