SPSS occasionally releases software updates which they refer to as Fix Packs. These Fix Packs repair reported problems with the software. 

Fix Packs are available directly from SPSS. Before you can download a Fix Pack you must create an SPSS account and log in. Account logins are at no additional cost. Once you have logged in, pick your product (SPSS Statistics or SPSS Amos), the version number you are running, and the appropriate operating system (Linux, Mac OSX, Windows). Make sure to select the Download using your browser (HTTP) option. Fix Packs for student or graduate versions of SPSS do not work with the version of SPSS distributed by OIT since we license the full version of the software. 

Detailed step-by-step instructions for obtaining and installing SPSS Fix Packs are available on the OIT software distribution site. Log in with your NetID and password and choose the SPSS Installation and Renewal Instructions document from the SPSS menu.
