In addition to all the great offerings included with your Microsoft license, Microsoft Defender is one of them. If you have not installed Defender for macOS, it is available for UT-owned computers on the OIT Software Download site. Defender works with the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection console to report suspicious activity to OIT.
We have already enrolled many UT Windows computers in the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Protection program, including those managed by Microsoft InTune and Active Directory. We are offering the same protection for UT-owned macOS computers.
