ChemDraw Professional Suite 21

Chemdraw Pro Suite and Chemdraw logo

PerkinElmer’s ChemDraw Professional provides scientists with an up-to-date collection of scientifically intelligent tools and an industry standard structure drawing suite for chemical structure drawing and analysis combined with biological pathway drawing. It supports a wide range of applications from drawing reactions, to processing instrument data, to structuring experimental data in diverse fields of scientific research.

The latest release of ChemDraw Professional suite 21 allows users to save a 3D molecule in ChemDraw as a 3D-printable object. This new feature is co-developed by Microsoft natively supported in PowerPoint. A 3D object created in ChemDraw can be not only pasted into a PowerPoint slide to interact or animate in 3D, but also transferred along with color highlights from ChemDraw for a better visual effect. This new version of ChemDraw professional also comes with new hotkeys to generate complex functional groups, such as a Cp ligand and a p-bonded phenyl, in one keystroke. Notably, ChemDraw / ChemOffice 21.0 is qualified against Windows 11 and Mac OS X 12.1 (Monterey).

The details regarding steps to access and download the software and activation code can be found in the ChemDraw Professional Installation Instructions under the CambridgeSoft menu from the OIT Software Distribution site.

ChemDraw is available to faculty, staff, and students at the University of Tennessee Knoxville with no additional charge.
