The Commons – Presentation Rooms



The Practice Presentation Rooms were conceived as a place for students to train, practice their presentation, conduct video conferences, study in groups, or conduct meetings.

The Commons, a collaboration between the Office of Innovative Technologies (OIT) and University Libraries, is located in the center of campus, on the second floor of Hodges Library, which is the university’s main library.

Here’s what you will find in each room:

Practice Presentation Room (220E)

  • WolfVision Cynap
  • Sony DVD Blu-ray
  • WolfVision document camera
  • Epson ceiling-mounted projector
  • AMX panel control
  • Zoom software for videoconferencing
    • Wall and ceiling mounted cameras (for capturing front and rear views)
    • PC Computer running Windows 10 and Office 2019

  • Epson wall-mounted projector
  • Extron AV panel control

Commons Reservation

Patrons may reserve either room via an online reservation form. Reservations are on a first come-first serve basis and may be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance for a maximum of 2 hours.
