Classroom Technology and Training Undergraduate Student Position Available

We’re currently looking for an Undergraduate Student Assistant!

This undergraduate position will support training and technology on campus through technical writing, visiting classrooms to document technology, updating websites, and developing training materials. This individual must have excellent communication (verbal and written), time management skills, ability to work independently and with groups, and ability to quickly pick up new technologies. Familiarity with WordPress and Microsoft Teams is a plus.

The Student Assistant for OIT Teaching & Learning is an hourly-paid position open for UTK students who are available to work 10-20 hours per week. Starting pay is $13.00/hour.

Duties include:

• Writing step-by-step instructions
• Creating simple graphics
• Assisting in creating instructional videos
• Visiting classrooms to document technology, photography, posting instructions, etc.
• Assisting with updating a WordPress site and a SharePoint website (Students will be trained on how to do this)
