The University of Tennessee’s Office of Innovative Technologies Instructional Support and Training Team is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of OIT Student Staff. This position will provide audio visual and production support to OIT Digital Media Services. This individual must have both excellent communication (verbal and written) and time management skills. Additionally, this position will require the ability to operate under pressure, tight time constraints, and lifting of over 10 lbs. Starting pay is $9.00/hour. Needed 10-20 hours per week spring/fall, 20-40 hours per week summer.

Duties will include the following:

Digital Media Services:

• Audio/video equipment operation (cameras, microphones, mixers, video switcher)
• Video editing, digitization, and closed captioning
• Consulting with faculty on digital media needs
• Document and image scanning
• An interest in all aspects of video production 
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
• Monitoring tickets and responding to users
