Adobe Software for UTK

Please be aware that some on this page has been moved to the UTK Employee Hub. The following items have been migrated:

  • Pricing for Creative Cloud and Captivate
  • Purchasing instructions for employees
  • Purchasing instructions for computer lab licenses

Please sign into the UTK Employee Hub to access the above information.

Creative Cloud and Captivate are included in the University of Tennessee Adobe contract.  Licensing for them is based on specific, named users, and requires UT to assign licenses to a specific employee or student for all products.

Benefits of the named license

  • Ability to use the software on two different computers, one of which may be a home computer.
  • Most active faculty, staff, and student employees are eligible.  See the eligibility requirements.
If, at any point, your status changes and you are no longer eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud, your account will be terminated. Once this happens, any files stored in Adobe cloud storage will be lost and cannot be recovered. For this reason, we do not recommend storing any data in the Adobe cloud.
  • Departments may purchase licenses for use by their student employees engaged in departmental (non-academic) work.
