Vault (UT Secure Courier) is a secure file transfer application that allows users to easily share large files, including executables, quickly and securely. Files are uploaded and downloaded via SSL encrypted HTTP and stored in an encrypted data store. Using Vault is as easy as sending an email with an attachment, and it can be used from both a PC and a Mac.

Users log in to the system with their UT email address and NetID password and then upload or download the file as appropriate. Vault is intended for file transfer and not for permanent file storage. Files are automatically deleted 20 days after they are uploaded. Vault is available to all current university faculty, staff, and students; non-UT users can use it to send and receive files, but they must send or receive from a UT authorized account.
