UT is in the process of migrating its enterprise site license from Qualtrics to QuestionPro. At this stage of the migration, we are rolling QuestionPro out as a “beta test”, with the intent of putting in full production on August 22, 2018. This is a good time to try it out and learn how it works, but we do not advise doing production work until that date. The feature set of our QuestionPro Enterprise Team Edition license is very similar to that of Qualtrics. Those features are described on the QuestionPro Features Page.
Faculty, staff, and students at all UT campuses can login to QuestionPro using their NetID and password by clicking the button below. On August 22, 2018, our main web survey link will redirect to this page, which will become the main landing page for Web Surveys. As of March 1, 2019, our main web survey link will point directly to the QuestionPro login page.
A good way to learn QuestionPro is by following the step-by-step instructions on the company’s help web page. They also offer live online assistance (5×24) via a chat window that is available as you’re designing your survey. The company also offers one-hour live online training courses every week. OIT will also be offering webinars via Zoom, and we will make recordings of those webinars available to watch any time. On the UTK campus, OIT will teach QuestionPro workshops live, as usual.Log into your UT QuestionPro account
Qualtrics accounts will be available to all UT community members until September 30, 2019. However, no new accounts will be created after March 1, 2019. UT faculty, students, and staff and can use Qualtrics for university-related work such as academic projects which may serve research (instructional or academic) and administrative purposes. The account may not be used for corporate (consulting that benefits an outside organization), personal, or “for-profit” purposes. Such projects would include surveys that are not related to academic research or institutional research. Note that unlike Qualtrics, QuestionPro surveys can be used for any purpose, even for assisting outside organizations.
When you create your Qualtrics account, it will be set up as a Basic Account. If you wish to learn more about the Advanced Account, you can contact our office for more information.
