Do You Eduroam During the Summer?
Do you travel to other universities during the summer months? If so, check to see if that university provides an Eduroam wireless network. Eduroam allows students, staff, and faculty from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions. Go to Eduroam for more information, including a list of participants.
If you are traveling to a university that offers an Eduroam wireless network, you will need to make sure you have connected to the Eduroam wireless network at your home institution before connecting to the Eduroam network at your destination institution. Away from your email over the Summer?

For Students: Email Access After Leaving UT
As a student, you are allowed to keep your Volmail account when you graduate or leave the university. OIT encourages you to go ahead and set up your Volmail password reset options now. If you forget your password or have trouble signing in, you will be able to answer your security questions and create a new password. For Students: Microsoft Office and OneDrive Access After Leaving UT
Once you have left the University, your Microsoft Office ProPlus subscription will end, and access to the desktop suite and web applications will be unavailable. After this time, you will need to enroll in other available consumer or commercial offers from Microsoft or other third-party retailers. Additionally, access to the files stored in your UTK OneDrive for Business will be unavailable and the files deleted by Microsoft. OIT recommends backing up and transferring your files to another third-party service or your UTK Google Drive.
