OIT WELLNESS WEDNESDAY TECH TIP: Essentials of Mindfulness and Compassion

In a recent communication from the Chancellor, Dr. Plowman encouraged faculty and staff to take time this summer to recharge and refresh. One of the many resources available on LinkedIn Learning is a short one-hour course entitled “Essentials of Mindfulness and Compassion.” In this course, the speaker leads us to understand how mindfulness practices help you reduce the effects of stress and build better relationships. In addition, this video will teach you simple breathing techniques to settle your body and mind, cultivate self-awareness, and develop greater compassion for yourself and others.
