The best way to get help for all your IT needs is to contact the OIT HelpDesk. Rather than directly emailing your “go-to” OIT team member, contact us through any of the following methods to ensure the entire service team sees your request and works together to provide a prompt answer.
Instructors with questions about Canvas, Zoom, Proctorio, and instructional/course design can visit OIT’s Zoom room, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.) Alternatively, you can call the OIT HelpDesk and get connected to one of our Course Design and Delivery specialists.
The OIT Desktop Support team is available Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call the OIT HelpDesk to get started; we provide remote assistance by phone and make office visits for staff on the Knoxville campus. Help for students is available remotely by telephone and in the Commons at Hodges Library (by appointment only). Full service will resume for students on August 16, 2021.
The RCS team is available for quantitative, qualitative, and ArcGIS consulting services online by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Virtual walk-in support is available online during the regularly scheduled walk-in research support hours.
