Microsoft Teams for Education; Is It Right for Your Class?

Does your class need a space for group chats, file storage, and quick group video calls? You may want to check out Microsoft Teams. With Teams, you can create channels for specific groups in your class Team to work. These groups can be private to only team members or can be accessible to the entire class.
Additional features within Teams:
- Control access to files with the entire class or specific groups
- Create, share, and collaborate in Word, PowerPoint, or Excel without leaving Teams
- Engage in group conversations with video calls
We have multiple ways for you to learn about Teams:
- Enjoy video podcasts? Our Technology Connections vodcast has two episodes talking about Microsoft Teams.
- General Teams Overview gives you a quick view of what is available
- Why Should I Use MS Teams goes into a bit more depth
- Want a reference guide with information? Check out our Microsoft Teams for Education page.
