MATLAB requires re-activation on a personal PC after July 31, 2022. MATLAB activation no longer requires using an activation code when installing or renewing the software. An identity authentication check is performed through Single Sign-On during installation/activation to limit usage to active students, faculty, and staff. Following the installation and activation process on your computer, you will not be prompted to verify your university account until July 31 of the following year. However, when the license expires, you will be prompted to verify your university account if attempting to re-activate.
