JMP is a suite of computer programs for statistical analysis and data visualization developed by the JMP business unit of SAS Institute. The most up-to-date version, JMP Pro 16, has many new features that enhance your data cleanup, analysis, and modeling capabilities, including improved action recording with enhanced log mode, interactive sample size explorer for DOE, self-contained projects for sharing and archiving, new model screening platform (PRO) and sentiment analysis, and term selection in text explorer (PRO). In addition, JMP Live has been enhanced with new control chart notifications.
JMP runs on Windows 32-bit and 64-bit systems and Mac Intel systems. For Mac users, JMP Pro 15.2 and above are compatible with the latest Mac OS 11(Big Sur). The incompatibility between older versions of JMP and Mac OS may cause unexpected quits or launch issues.
The JMP website offers video tutorials and JMP e-learning courses. You can get more details in the installation instructions on OIT’s software download page.
JMP is available to faculty, staff, and students at the Knoxville campus and can be downloaded from OIT’s software download page for no additional charge. Other UT campuses must purchase JMP directly from SAS Institute.
