Enhance Your Zooming!

As part of our new Enterprise agreement with Zoom, OIT is upgrading existing accounts for all faculty and students to fully Licensed (Pro) accounts. What does that mean? Licensed accounts provide unlimited meetings with unlimited duration for up to 300 participants. What about staff? If you are staff and already have a Licensed account, nothing is changing. If you are staff and would like to have a Licensed account, you can submit a request online.

If you have an existing UT Zoom account:

  • Log out of Zoom on all of your devices.
  • Go to tennessee.zoom.us.
  • Click on Create or Edit Account.
  • Log in with your UT NetID and password.
  • Your account will automatically be upgraded from Basic to Licensed.

If you do not have an existing UT Zoom account:

  • Go to tennessee.zoom.us.
  • Select Create or Edit Account.
  • Log in with your UT NetID and password.
  • You will be sent a confirmation email from Zoom.  If you don’t see it in your Inbox, check your spam/junk email folders.
  • Confirm your new account with the link in that email.
