My Mediasite is an online portal allowing faculty to upload and share original videos from their computers for instructional purposes. The Mediasite Desktop Recorder is the software that faculty can use to create videos, screencasts, or slideshows directly from their computer. My Mediasite portal provides download access to the Mediasite Desktop Recorder.
The Mediasite Desktop Recorder requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later or Windows 7, a 2.4 Ghz Core Duo or greater processor, 4 GB RAM, at least 1 GB of free disk space, and a built-in or external camera and microphone. Using an external microphone is recommended.
When to Use My Mediasite and the Mediasite Desktop Recorder

Though My Mediasite is a much more sophisticated tool than One-Shot video and PowerPoint with Voiceover it is very user-friendly and has an easy-to-use interface.
