Creating Online Lectures with Mediasite
Introduction
My Mediasite is an online portal allowing faculty to upload and share original videos from their computers for instructional purposes. The Mediasite Desktop Recorder is the software that faculty can use to create videos, screencasts, or slideshows directly from their computer. My Mediasite portal provides download access to the Mediasite Desktop Recorder.
System Requirements
The Mediasite Desktop Recorder requires Mac OS X 10.8 or later or Windows 7, a 2.4 Ghz Core Duo or greater processor, 4 GB RAM, at least 1 GB of free disk space, and a built-in or external camera and microphone. Using an external microphone is recommended.
