HelpDeskStudent Assistant Positions AvailableThe OIT HelpDesk is hiring. Preference is given to students with availability between 8 AM and 5 PM Monday thru Friday. Applicants should be self-motivated, possess good customer service and communication skills, able to take the initiative, be comfortable talking with people, and able to perform well in a team environment. Applicants should be available to work 20 hours per week (M-F), preferably in blocks of 3+ hours. Students able to hold this position for more than one academic year are strongly preferred. Applicants with less than one academic semester remaining are not reviewed. This is a programming/web development position that works closely with the Assistant Director of OIT Support and the HelpDesk Supervisor. This position is responsible for writing and maintaining web forms that interact with OIT's BMC FootPrints ticketing system, compiling HelpDesk statistics, and other projects as assigned.
