OIT Communications provides the University community with classroom media technology, wired and wireless networking, and telecommunications. Communications acquires, installs, and maintains media technology, network, and telecommunications equipment for the university, as well as supplying services and maintaining existing infrastructure.
Telephone Service support can be obtained by dialing 974-3121. After-hours support is available Monday through Friday 5pm to 8am, weekends, holidays and administrative closings.
Audio/Video, Webcasting, Wired/Wireless Networking and Classroom support can be obtained by dialing the OIT Helpdesk 974-9900 and follow the prompts.

Communications Engineering Services designs, installs, and maintains state-of-the-art classroom technology for use by the faculty, staff and students located at UT campuses across the state. Classroom system designs are evaluated based on need or request and a solution is implemented. This is accomplished at a campus level as well as through consulting with individual departments for stand-alone solutions.
