There are two options for checking your email on the Volmail system: 1) Use Volmail Outlook.com web interface and 2) Use a client such as Outlook or Entourage on your personal or work computer.
Reasons to use Outlook.com:
Outlook.com works from all computers, in all modern browsers.
Since no client is needed, Outlook.com is ideal for use when away from work or school. (OIT reminds you to only use Outlook.com to check your mail from secure computers that are free from viruses and spyware.)
Benefits of using a client:
Using a client provides you with more robust features and options compared to Outlook.com.
