University of Tennessee students now have access to free and unlimited music downloading through Ruckus thanks to a joint initiative between the Office of Information Technology and the Office of the Dean of Students!

Ruckus allows university students to download and share as much music as they want, for free. Best of all, the service is completely legal. That means you can have unlimited music to listen to and share with friends without worrying about all the issues of illegal downloading. Plus, signing up is fast and the program is easy to use. Thanks to UT's partnership with Ruckus, students will have access to special high-speed downloads and discounted premium subscriptions when they use the service on campus, but the service is available to students living both on and off campus.
