Purpose of This Site
OIT would like to introduce you the NEW digital telephone sets being offered on campus.
The OptiPoint series of multi-feature telephones have many options that enhance their functionality.
This web page will assist you in choosing the telephone set, system features and options that will
best meet your departmental and budgetary needs.
Basic Phone

Recorder Adapter

- Interface for connecting external recording equipment or

- Must be used with the H141 headset and the Basic and Standard

- Does not alter the dimension of the phone

Acoustic Adapter

- Interface for connecting an external loudspeaker and microphone,
headset, or additional transmitter
- Provides an interface for connecting a headset to a OptiPoint
Basic or Standard telephone
- Snaps into the module bay
- Supports a M-12 headset adapter
- Supported on all optiPoint 500 telephones except Entry
