Hardware Purchases

Announcements

  • Effective February 5, 2007, hardware orders to Gateway will be handled by each department rather than through OIT's Business Office. This process change does not replace any internal ordering processes that may exist within your department or unit. NOTE: AS OF FEBRUARY 5, 2007, DO NOT FAX TO 865/974-2050.
  • OIT recommends that all hardware orders be placed by June 16 in order to be received and paid before the end of this fiscal year.
  • The contract to purchase UPS equipment has been awarded to Pomeroy Computer Resources effective 4/20/2006. The new manufacturer will be APC.
  • The contract to purchase IBM equipment has expired effictive 9/30/2005. Any IBM hardware purchase in excess of $2,000 will need to be bid
