Phone and Walk-in SupportThe HelpDesk: 974-9900Setting up your computer to take full advantage of all the computing resources at UT is often frustrating for new users or for users who are new to this type of environment. Some of the choices you have to make when setting up depend on the type of machine, the location of the user, and the kinds of tasks you need to accomplish. If you have any questions while using the computing services available at UT, contact the HelpDesk for assistance. Help Is Provided on the Following Subjects:Enhanced Remote Access (ERA) Residence Hall Internet Access (ResNet) Problems or questions concerning PC or Macintosh Establishing and using your e-mail and/or UNIX account Sending and receiving e-mail Use of the Internet Setting up your own Web page Wireless assistance Registering for training classes Using Computer-Based Training Password reset assistance Questions on Blackboard And much more The HelpDesk is available to answer questions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday.
