OIT maintains many computing facilities across the campus. To use one of these labs, use your NetID and password to log onto a machine.
COMPUTER LABS
STAFFED COMPUTER LABS
The labs below are staffed. The hours listed are the standard spring/fall lab hours, but hours vary slightly during the semesters, breaks, and summer terms. For a complete listing of computing lab locations, hours, hardware, and software go to http://oit.utk.edu and click on “Labs.” Some or all of the stations in the Humanities, Art Department, and Perkins labs may be in use for class instruction, so you may benefit from calling in advance to see if the lab you are interested in is available.

UNSTAFFED COMPUTER LABS
Unstaffed labs are located in the following areas on campus: Career Services, Hodges Library Grad lab, International House, Computing Store Lab: There is a lab in the University Center. While this is not an OIT lab (meaning some of the rules may be slightly different than in an OIT lab), it is convenient and available to all students. The machines in this lab are configured differently from the OIT labs.

PRINTING WITH VOLPRINT
VolPrint was installed to establish a unified system of printing on campus. University administration and students came together to implement a system that is fair and easy to use.
Using VolPrint, students can print on campus using printers that are available in OIT labs, the libraries, and certain departments. You can print your documents directly from computers in the OIT labs, the libraries, and departments, or from your laptop using a wireless connection. Sixty printers are available for students to use in OIT labs and at the University Libraries. An AllStar Plus account is the primary means of paying for printed pages. Detailed information about printing on campus can be found at http://volprint.utk.edu.
